Justin Jay is bringing his full live band to Bar Standard in Denver for what is guaranteed to be Mile High’s best pizza party.
On Wednesday, November 8, Justin Jay is slated for an epic return to the Mile High City in support of his sublime new album, Home. Already well-known for his energetic live sets and superior command of crowd dynamics, Justin is taking things a step further by bringing his full live band with him for a set that no one in Denver will soon forget!
Those who have followed Justin Jay’s career trajectory already know that that the young producer has already earned his bona fides. He was signed to Dirtybird Records while still producing music out of his college dorm room, and released his first album, Fantastic Voyage, to considerable acclaim.
His second album, Home, is not just more of the same. Taking a few months off from the global touring scene and centering himself allowed him to change direction and put out an album that is both vibrant and introspective, showing a whole new side of his talents.
As if that weren’t enough, Home features a number of performances from pals and collaborators such as Benny Bridges and Josh Taylor, laying the groundwork for what is certain to be a one of a kind live experience.
This week’s performance is part of a weekly series of incredible house pizza parties put on by local promoters TheHundred Presents and Ian’s Pizza, home of Denver’s best recreational slice. The STEAM series features weekly residents and monthly national guests.
